MFV Liafjord

SeaQuest Systems have been awarded the contract for the supply of a crane package to new MFV Liafjord for fishing company Liegruppen, to be built in Turkey at Cemre Marin shipyard

Designed by Salt Ship Design in Norway, this will be the fifth vessel of their design in recent times to be equipped with SeaQuest Cranes

The package will include;

• 4t @ 13mtr Knuckleboom Crane,
• 5t @ 13mtr Powerblock Crane
• 4t Davit Arm
• Pre-assembled AFT Hydraulic System with off-line filtration integrated

As standard all of the equipment will be operated from radio control units. Stainless Steel hydraulic tube & fittings, along with cylinder rods & pins will also be fitted on each of the cranes and davit arm

The Powerblock Crane will be fitted with the larger SeaQuest Powerblock, with a core pull of 5tonnes, and also with 360° endless rotation on the Powerblock head.
